Didim is a fast growing tourist town . The tourist infrastructure is particularly concentrated around the main beach in the Altınkum district. Other places frequented by tourists are Mavişehir, Akbuk, Yesitape and Yeşilkent.

There is a marina in Didim. The D-Marin has 580 sea and 600 land berths as well as 70,000 m² of land for various buildings and workshops. There is also a slip facility for up to 75 tons. The city is located on the Turkish   Aegean coast , about 160 km south of İzmir . The landscape around Didim is something special. Surrounded by high mountains and the unique Bafa Lake. Part of the lake is a national park and invites you to go hiking.
